Dwight Eisenhower
I began drawing in August 1959. Eisenhower was in the White House. I haven’t stopped since then. Over 66 years.

My Journey
The early 70s were tough. I knocked around for years, but eventually ended up at Pratt Institute and met Rolf Fjelde, the Ibsen scholar. Strange that a drama scholar had the greatest effect on me in art school. Ibsen and Shakespeare. Greek Theater. The germ was planted. Eventually I added writing to my grab-bag.
So far, I’ve written eight graphic story books in series form. Blueboy Brown Comics #1-6 and Liquid Prisoner Comics #1-2. LPC3 is in the works. Add the etchings, teaching Art and cinema history college classes, and I’m pretty busy.
